ABOUT ABC
The Alliance for Bloomfield’s Children is a community-driven initiative dedicated to supporting the healthy growth, development, and success of young children in Bloomfield, Connecticut. We proudly serve children from birth to age 8, recognizing that the early years are the foundation for lifelong learning, well-being, and achievement.

Our mission is to bring together families, educators, and community partners to ensure that every child in Bloomfield has access to high-quality resources, nurturing environments, and opportunities to thrive. We work closely with parents and caregivers, providing support, information, and connections that empower them to play an active role in their child’s development.

Collaboration is at the heart of everything we do. We partner with local organizations, schools, healthcare providers, and community leaders to create a coordinated system of care that meets the diverse needs of our families. Our goal is to strengthen the entire community by supporting those who care for and educate our youngest residents.

We are proud to be recognized as a Local Governor’s Partner through SHINE, a national organization focused on advancing outcomes for young children and families. In addition, our partnership with the Governor’s Office and the Connecticut Office of Early Childhood allows us to expand our reach and enhance the impact of our programs and services.

OUR MISSION OUR PURPSOE
The Alliance for Bloomfield’s Children (ABC) is a dynamic cross-sector alliance of residents, parents, early care providers, educators, service agencies, and business people working to advance positive outcomes for young children in Bloomfield. ABC facilitates collaboration, sponsors programs and events, and serves as a vehicle for community engagement to ensure that “All Bloomfield Children, birth to 8, are healthy, educated, nurtured and supported by their families and their communities.”
